Snow and sun

This was Tuesday, the day before the snow storm.
Toquima, center, was coming back to stay for about a week.
Everyone remembered him but gave him a good sniff
L to R: Zachary, Bootie, Toquima, Gigi, Trooper.
Three steps from the porch was
as far as Gigi went on Wednesday.
Here are a few pics from Snowquester2013.  We had 8+ inches of snow on Wednesday, but by Friday the sun was shining and it was in the 50s.  Saturday was even warmer.

The snow was beautiful but it really made it hard on the
old dogs to get around.  Cabell, Bremo, and Lady

On Thursday, the sun was out and the world
was looking better.  Our power came back on.
Trooper didn't let a little snow keep him
from his sentry post.
Bootie came through the heartworm
treatment without any problems and
is doing very well.  He's a nice boy.
Toquima and Bootie have become buddies.

Riley and Toquima
By Friday the sun felt warm again.

Even Gigi wanted to go out and lay in the sun
with Lady on Friday.

The dog yard was a busy place again.

Ahh! A butt-sniffing circle! It's like a knitting circle for dogs.
