Touching Teddy

I've posted this picture several times but
it's my favorite pic of Cooper and Teddy
because it shows their relationship.
Remember the dynamic duo, Teddy and Cooper? There's great news about both of them, but first a bit of background.  Cooper is an American Bulldog, sweet, outgoing but sensitive, and intuitive. Teddy is a little beagle of sorts. He was always been extremely shy, withdrawn to the point of being autistic. They were both adopted by the same woman who has made a wonderful home for them, and has worked with Teddy's issues while loving him as he is. Here's a few prior blog posts about these two:

Cooper, such a face
Cooper was recently certified as a therapy dog by Therapy Dogs International. He's going to be working at a hospice facility. Cooper is an incredible dog, and he's already done great work with Teddy.

Touching Teddy
Teddy has recently allowed a friend of the owner to touch him. If you know Teddy at all, you'll realize this is a huge breakthrough, many years in the making. Teddy has also learned to associate the leash with good things, going fun places, so he will now stop and allow himself to be leashed in the open yard.

This wasn't days, or weeks, this was a moment
that was years in the making. That's commitment.
