One day, one dog

It was about a 12 hour day, a tank of gas, and many miles, but Daisy has a new home and we are very happy for her.
This is Daisy meeting Max. He was very happy to have her
and I think they will be great friends. He was very anxious
to show her around the property.
Daisy meeting the other two dogs, it went
very well, even with the senior girl.
Clay and I loaded up Daisy, trusted our house to Maya and divine providence, and headed down to Floyd County to meet a prospective adopter. Beautiful home, 35 acres near the Blue Ridge Parkway, retired couple with son, three other dogs, shepherd experience and rescue experience, what could be better?
It was a beautiful day and it was well worth the trip. Daisy rode very nicely, met the resident dogs very nicely, and won over the humans as well. She will get enough attention that she will warm up quickly, I think. She was progressing here day-by-day without me doing much. She will make herself at home there very soon.

It was a beautiful day, particularly after all the clouds and
rain we've had for the past week.
Parkway Brewing Co. in Salem was very good.
We hit a new brewery on the way home, Parkway Brewing in Salem, and had dinner in Roanoke. We got home after dark and found only minor Maya destruction in the house. She took off for a romp through the neighborhood this evening, but wasn't gone too long.
