Follow Me, Kid

Someone needs to adopt this new girl, Fanny, quickly, before someone around here falls for her. She is very sweet, cute, and so far, very easy. She crates, she knows the difference between dog toys and shoes, she pees and poops outdoors, what more could anyone ask for? I am letting her spend the night in the crate downstairs because we already have five dogs in the bedroom, but she's with me during the day and this afternoon she went out on a hike with Maya and me.

It wasn't sunny, but at least it wasn't raining like Monday or like Wednesday is forecasted to be. It wasn't a pretty day so there weren't a lot of people out. The trails were wet and muddy so we stuck to the new field trails, the roadways, and otherwise solid ground.

Maya has her own agenda on walks and doesn't really care who accompanies her, as long as it includes me. Fanny followed her. She didn't exactly understand object of the hike, but she enjoyed being out with us and doing something. We did five miles and Fanny is young enough that she had no trouble keeping up.

Fanny is gorgeous! Someone will snap her up in a hurry, she sounds like a sweetheart. Wish it could be me!
