The best laid plans of mice and men

Today I had hoped and planned to be taking Scarlett to her new home. However, yesterday she developed some diarrhea. I think it's probably due to the hefty dose of doxy that she's taking, but I think it needs to be resolved prior to moving her in order to maximize the chance of success. This morning she got chicken and rice, an immodium, and fomatidine.

The good news is that I've left her loose in the house, un-crated, a couple times now for several hours and her house manners seem to be fine. The diarrhea I think is a medical problem, not a house training issue.

So Scarlett is on hold for the moment.

They gave me hell at the vet for not
dressing Gigi in her pearls for the trip
to town. But they are really more for
evening wear. When her coat is all
grown in and she's had a bath, we'll
do a fashion shoot.
Gigi's coat is rebounding nicely.
And in other medical news:  Trooper's cough seems much better and no one else has picked it up, thank goodness. Gigi's thyroid levels went from being too low to too high on the medication she was getting, so she's stepping down to lower dose as we try to get it right.

And in puppy news: Here is a pic from Felix's adopters of him exploring his new world. This is just such a typical puppy picture.
