Catching Up

This a former foster named Bernie. He was a puppy named
Rowdy when we had him. He was always very shy and he
still is, but he's happy in his home. 
His folks were down for a visit on Saturday.

here now are new to Bernie. He might have
overlapped with Trooper or Sparky.

I haven't posted in a few days. Not that much going on. I've been making candy and cookies and doing some christmas shopping. It's that time of year after all.

Saturday was a chilly, but sunny day. I took Theo
and Melvin out to the pasture to play ball.

They had a little disagreement about how to play
ball, but once that was settled they were fine.

Melvin had a good run even if Theo wouldn't let him play ball.

Sunday was overcast, but still decent for hiking.

Sparky and Maya and I walked about 2 miles.

Sparky had a great time and he will be joining
us on the trails again now that it's cool.

The second 2 miler on Sunday was with Trooper.

Trooper was happy to get out again
today as well, and we had the trails
to ourselves.
