All Things Golden

I used an Easy Walk harness on
the walk and he really wasn't bad.

Cooper is our newest foster, a two year old Golden Retriever. He's been great with all the dogs around here. He was great in the crate the first night, but barked and carried on for quite a while the second night. Today I made it my mission to get him tired out during the day so we'd have a quiet night. Here are some pictures of our walk (with Maya and TJ), and the pasture romp (with Max, Theo, Toquima, and Cooper's new BFF Clyde).

He was quite willing to walk through water and
mud to make me this nice pawprint.

He enjoyed the walk but what he really loved was
running in the pasture.

Cooper took a real liking to Clyde today and I think
the friendship will be good for both of them.

p.s. Serena seems to be recovering well. She's taken up residence in the giant crate in the kitchen and she's not sure there are many reasons to come out of it. She's got a nice bed, blankets, her toy, and room for me to crawl in to visit. I think she may be a bit of a drama queen working this for all it's worth, but I'm enabling it.
