Mila's Spay Day

It was a pretty sunrise the morning of Mila's spay.
Angel was spayed last Friday. She was pretty sick for the next day but she had bounced back by Sunday and seems like her old self. Mila went in for the same procedure today. The difference is that Mila is much younger, five months rather than five years or more. She came home much more awake and alert, but she was happy to head upstairs to her crate for a nap. However, I expect that it will be difficult to keep her calm and quiet for the next few days like she is supposed to be.

Outside the vet hospital before going in.

Look at the line of this pup's ears and the back
of her head. When she stands with her head up,
it's a perfect straight line from her ears to the
tip of her tail. I haven't managed to get that
picture yet, but she's a nice looking dog.

This picture shows how small she really is. She only weighed
about 36 pounds today.

Groggy post-op pic.
Of course when she came back in everyone had to check her
out, find out where she had been, what happened, etc.

She tried to crash here in the corner of the kitchen but I got
her upstairs to her crate for a more comfortable bed.

That puppy is so cute I can't stand it. If Siegfried would accept a sister, I'd apply to adopt her.
