A Snowy Sunday (mostly) Indoors

bed are Trooper and Maya.

We got much less snow than predicted, and I don't mind that at all. We did get some rain/sleet/freezing stuff along with it that created a crusty layer on top of the snow, which was then covered up with more snow in the evening. It's anyone's guess what will be out there on Monday morning. We spent the day mostly indoors, which was prudent, and most everyone else seemed to do the same. Even if you like snow, it wasn't very nice to be out in because of the wind and freezing mist that fell in the afternoon. Most of the dogs just went outside on essential business. We did have some playtime and I'll share those pictures tomorrow, but these show how most of us spent most of the day.

Angel has taken up Gigi's spot in our bed at night.

Maya doesn't care to sleep in the bed at night so she doesn't
mind Angel up there.

Serena's head often crosses the line onto Sparky's bed. He
doesn't mind, but Vince would never have tolerated that.

Trooper hops up into bed for petting but he doesn't sleep
there.

TJ may be a husky but he's happiest being
indoors in this weather, or any weather.

We found these beds at Costco recently and we bought four
of them. They are popular with all the dogs.

Diesel really enjoyed the snow and he went
out on every occasion.

TJ is probably our most senior dog now. He sleeps by my
chair most of the time, but I wish he'd use one of the beds.

Sparky made only essential trips outdoors today.
