Growing pups
The three mini-Troopers are seven weeks old today. They were vaccinated early last week and were de-wormed for the second time. They are gaining in size and strength, coordination and confidence. The outdoor time helps with that, more room to run and things to jump on and climb. It's fun to watch them play, learn, and grow. They met new people today and came into the house for a while. After just a few minutes they begin to explore and play in any new surroundings.
This is a blog about my life, which until recently largely revolved around a dog rescue operation. Recently retired, we have moved to France for the next chapter of our lives. I write mostly, but not exclusively, about dogs. I am gay, with a very understanding husband; liberal Democrat; Kansas native and long time Virginia resident. We rescued, fostered, and/or adopted well over a thousand dogs through multiple rescue organizations over the past 25 years, large breed dogs, e.g. German Shepherd Dogs, Great Danes, Rottweilers and mutts. Anyone who voted for or supports the orange TACO turd (or any elected Republican) will please take themselves out with the trash, you are not welcome here.
