Second Vaccination Day

Today was the second round of vaccines for the mini Troopers. They've now had two rounds of vaccines and three doses of de-wormer, preparing them for life in the larger world of their new homes.

Superman himself assisted while Erika administered the vaccines today. He was wearing a mask to conceal his identity, but we all know who he is.

In the afternoon, Jan and Paul came over again for the afternoon social hour. The puppies loved having company. It heat wasn't too bad under the birch trees, but hard play took its toll and the pups pooped out after about an hour.

They were carried in a towel because
they were already wet and muddy.
I thought the pups should meet an
adult dog other than their mother.
Luna was in the house and Della
was outside, so she came in, briefly.

Still just one ear up, but it was up all day.

Della observing from outside. The pups were very curious.
Luna wouldn't let other dogs get that close if she had been out there.

Check out that leap off the bed.

The male Trooper really likes the water.

Love those big paws.

Three way play

Testing the waters.

Wet, dirty, tired. That makes for a pretty good day for a puppy.
