The first picture in this post was the last picture in yesterday's post. A friend had commented that I should have captioned the picture: "The End." That would have been fitting, as it was a picture of a dog's butt and the last picture in the post. It is perhaps even more fitting for today's post because because the dog in that picture, Leo, was adopted today, ending his time in foster care. Of course, any rescue adoption is an ending of one chapter but also a beginning in the next chapter of the life of that dog.
Leo presents some challenges, his breed(s) and his sheer size, but he's got a good disposition and seems amenable to training.
The flip side of an ending in rescue is the beginning of a new life for the dog.
Here's hoping for a bright future for Leo, and a long and happy life.
