Visitors

A couple of friends from work came by this afternoon. We don't get a lot of visitors around here so the dogs were very excited. When we do get visitors they are nearly always dog people who bring treats. These folks did not disappoint.

Charly (Diane's dog), Maya (facing away), Paisley, and Della

Treats were plentiful and very popular, since my dogs never get any.

Paisley was weird about being touched at first, but she took treats.

Maya got in on it too.

Bailey is concerned about strangers in our home,
but they brought treats and Maya told her to relax.

Julie had them all eating out of her hands.
And no one lost any fingers.

Candace didn't hustle treats but she did come out to the yard and pasture with everyone.

Paisley and Charly

Paisley still has no social skills with other dogs.

Charly tried to play with her, but Paisley doesn't really know how.

Heading down the trail.

We discovered that Della's ear was bleeding and I had unknowingly captured the moment that it happened. Notice Paisley jumping up at her head in the back of the this picture. I would bet that's when she nicked Della's ear.

I put Paisley into the dog yard and brought out Bailey.
She and Charly had a good run but then Bailey tackled her, which was a bit much.

Later I put everyone back in the dog yard and brought Oakley out to run.
She ran, and ran, and ran.

Someone is coming to meet Oakley Saturday morning.

Maya stretched out in the kitchen.

Only Norman didn't get out to run, but I gave him some pasture time in the evening and will again tomorrow.
