It's been a wet and rainy week so far, like we needed that. My house is full of smelly dogs who are bored from being stuck indoors so much. They get out just enough to get wet and muddy and bring that back indoors. We have managed to get out on short walks in the afternoons. I took TJ along with Maya and Serena for two miles on Monday, and Trooper with Maya and Serena on Tuesday. I've also done a second walk each day with Maya and Serena, along with Diesel, who really needs the exercise.
Diesel likes to go and really enjoys it, but I'm not sure about his stamina right now so we've just been doing one mile with him. I don't want to get too far away from the van and then find out he wants to stop, because there's no way I could carry him. He's doing fine though, and he's even managing to get into the van, almost on his own. He will develop some muscle and lose some fat and become a good looking dog, like one of those fat guys you see who goes on a diet and exercise program to reveal a good looking guy underneath.
