Cooper is one of those rare dogs that I could have adopted out a dozen times if I had a dozen clones of him. There was a lot of interest and many applications. That's good for the dog, of course, but it leaves many applicants disappointed. That's just the way it is. You've got to be happy for the dog, though, and around here that's what it's all about.
Cooper is a great dog. He'll be an even greater dog with some training. Cooper is a beautiful dog. He'll be even better looking with a steady diet of good food and some good grooming.
The walks with the Gentle Leader really got him to accept it. He would even sit for me to put it on. He got used to the separation from Clyde at night too. He carried on for about 30 minutes the first night, about 10 minutes the second night, and not at all on the third night.
He's as ready as I can make him. I kissed him on the head and wished him well. The next foster arrives possibly on Saturday.
