A Tuesday in December

Nothing special here, just a Tuesday in December. The sun was shining, which was nice, but you sure couldn't call it dry. There is mud everywhere, so we confined our walks to the roadways at Pleasant Grove, like we did in the summer. We may not get into the woods until the ground freezes solid, but today we were happy to see the sun.

I did two walks, two miles each. The first one with four dogs: Trooper, Diesel, Maya, and Serena. The second walk was TJ, Maya, and Serena. After walking four dogs, the second walk with just three is a breeze. Yes, the girls both get to go on both walks. It keeps them out of trouble.

Diesel and Trooper

This shows the relative size of Serena and Trooper.

I never could get all four dogs in one picture, but here's three.

Diesel is very enthusiastic about the walking.

Sweet Serena
Maya, on the second walk.

That late day sun makes pretty pictures.

When she's not out front, Serena likes to walk in the
"petting position." I'm fine with that.
