Angel's Adoption

Maya and I drove Angel up to Harrisonburg today to meet some potential adopters. They hadn't yet met Angel but I had talked with them by phone and they had submitted an excellent sounding application. Still, until everyone meets you never know if all the right things will click.

Angel did her part very well and they fell for her. We talked for a while and spent some time in their house and in their fenced yard. Angel explored what would be her new territory. They had a box of toys and she really liked that.

They were wanting a shepherd and she was wanting a home. She'll be the only dog and I think that will suit her very well. It's been a good weekend so far; a lot of miles on the road but two adoptions this weekend, and Mila's adoption last week make it all worthwhile.
