Killian comes to visit

We are keeping Killian for a week while his family goes camping.

He's a very big boy now. His 120? pounds certainly pushes our combined pack weight back over the 500 pound mark, with a comfortable cushion to spare. Killian is a sweet boy and everyone seems to have accepted him right away. We took a walk on the trails in the pasture and then everyone just hung around while was puttering outdoors this afternoon.

Della seems fine having him back for a while, although we'll see if that extends to having him in the bedroom tonight. I'm hoping that she'll do some Dane-style play with him, even if he is just a boy.

Killian and Kinley

Checking out the new guy

Kinley was trying to figure out why Della was rolling in the grass.
None of your business, girl, just move along.

Reyna, Killian, and Kinley have eschewed the trails and chosen to go bounding through the tall grass.

Reyna takes nice pictures. I've never been all that into white shepherds, but she is a pretty thing.

I got the van cleaned out, the crates re-installed, and most importantly, put Della's bed back where it belongs, allowing her to supervise the other dogs from a position of comfort and authority.
