Happy Days
Happy was picked up by her adopter early this morning. I don't think I've ever had a dog who personified her name the way Happy did hers. Her picture could be in the dictionary as the definition of "happy."
I'm happy for her and for her adopter. I think they deserve each other and I mean that in the best way possible.
This is a blog about my life, which until recently largely revolved around a dog rescue operation. Recently retired, we have moved to France for the next chapter of our lives. I write mostly, but not exclusively, about dogs. I am gay, with a very understanding husband; liberal Democrat; Kansas native and long time Virginia resident. We rescued, fostered, and/or adopted well over a thousand dogs through multiple rescue organizations over the past 25 years, large breed dogs, e.g. German Shepherd Dogs, Great Danes, Rottweilers and mutts. Anyone who voted for or supports the orange TACO turd (or any elected Republican) will please take themselves out with the trash, you are not welcome here.
