Jericho

Jericho was adopted Sunday afternoon. His new family drove here from Pennsylvania along with their current female shepherd. They spent a good amount of time with him, with both dogs together, both inside and outside. They saw his attraction to water and his love of the ball. There were two kids in addition to the dog so there will be plenty of activity to keep Jericho entertained and busy. Their female shepherd was very calm, laid back, in contrast to Jericho's much higher level of energy. They aren't an exact match, but hopefully with complement each other's personality.

I had bought a comb yesterday that cuts mats from fur and we used it on him this morning. He tolerated it for quite a while and we got a lot of them out and I brushed him so he was looking good.

He hopped right into their van and made himself a spot, ready to go. That's typical of Jericho, he's ready for anything. I wish him the best.

Their dog is another long haired shepherd, so they know what they are in for in terms of fur and shedding.
