Bette and Elvis, et al.

Bette has been here enough that this is her home away from home. I think she enjoys it for the activity, although I know she misses the exclusive attention. She fits in here easily and even enjoys bedroom privileges. This afternoon I took her out for a walk with Elvis. They are just about the same size (Elvis is a little chunkier) and they walk together nicely.

Three miles

Today was Wakanda's final full day with his sisters. He is going to his new home tomorrow. I had them out in the sunny dog yard for a while in the afternoon. They enjoyed it but were ready to go back into the warm and cozy shed after a couple of hours. Here's a picture of them I grabbed from one of the surveillance cameras in the shed this morning. Wakanda has his back end to the heater and is otherwise completely surrounded by his sisters. Smart boy.

This evening I picked up two schnauzer mix fosters, Cheesecake and Apple Pie, who were just neutered today. They are young (five months?) but already good sized dogs. They needed to move because their prior foster took in an emergency intake of a mother with five puppies. These pictures are from the prior foster, it was too dark this evening to get decent pictures of mostly black dogs.
