Angel and Coco, Maya and Theo

I took Angel and Coco to a Promises Adoption event in northern Virginia today. Coco is a Promises dog and she has a potential adopter already. The adopter brought her other dogs along today to meet Coco to make sure everyone got along. That went fine as I thought it would. Hopefully we will complete Coco's adoption this coming Thursday.

Angel is actually with Green Dogs, but she came along because she needs a home. She might have found one today. At least an application was being submitted, we will see. Angel barks at dogs and sometimes at people when she sees them and wants to meet them. There's nothing aggressive about it. She did it several times today but as soon as she met the dog she was fine. She had been returned from a supposedly experienced shepherd home because she "can't be around other dogs." Yeah, right.

Angel really seems to like children and did a lot of face cleaning on several kids there today.

Coco loves everybody and really likes dogs who will play with her. Both girls had a good time and slept soundly on the way home.

After we got home I took Maya and Theo out for a quick two miles before it got dark.
