New nouns

The last few days have been all about introducing the puppies to new people, places, and things. Friday was the away from home vet visit where they were handled by lots of new people and received their vaccines, microchips, and a dose of de-wormer.

Clay's mother came out to visit on Saturday with a couple of her friends. I steam-cleaned the kitchen floor and then brought the puppies in the house on a big blanket. We all sat around and watched them played and periodically picked them up for snuggling.

Saturday evening we had friends over for pizza and puppy night. They got more handling and loving. We've also introduced some new toys and other features in their space.

They aren't gathered around their food dish, this is actually a new toy.

There is food involved with this new toy, however. The pups have to slide the
covers to reveal pieces of food underneath.

I brought out the small ironing board again.

They swarmed it, tasted it, and generally investigated.

It didn't take long before they climbed up on it.

Orange collar, Boston Cream, is splashing in the water disk.
This may be why I need to fill it so often.

Lots of toys, but chewing on your siblings face is the best.

The laundry basket turned on its side made a nice cave.

The rope toy is a favorite.

The rope toy is in the center of, and the object of this puppy scrum.

Cruller has emerged victorious, carrying the toy.

One pup using another's tail as a tug toy.

Paul with puppy.

Jan with puppy.

Apple Crumb with the prize toy, making a run for it.
