A puppy fix

Merlot and Chablis where neutered and spayed on Monday and went to their new homes that same day. Riesling was spayed on Tuesday and came back here. Today two pups were spayed, Chardonnay and Moscato, and they are back here tonight. The last to be spayed will be Pinot, who has an appointment for tomorrow, after which she will come back here for another week anyway. Chardonnay's adopters are picking her up here tomorrow afternoon, leaving us with three puppies until Saturday when Moscato goes home.

It's been a lot of trips to town this week, but fortunately Jamie has picked up and brought post-op pups back here for the last two days. That has been extremely helpful, and Clay did the drive to town on Tuesday, his day off.

The pups are as cute as ever, and as playful as ever in spite of the surgery. I'm trying to keep them inside more, however, to keep the running to a minimum at least. This evening's storm is dictating indoor time but I got them out and fed them during a break in the storm.

This beautiful photo of Moscato and Riesling was taken by a puppy visitor last weekend.

Moscato and Chardonnay arriving back home this afternoon.  Thanks Jamie!

Pinot and Chardonnay. Pinot took a step backwards with one ear today.
I am assuming that is temporary.

Post-op Moscato.

Riesling, and Chardonnay, on top of Pinot.

Chardonnay was happy to be back with three of her sisters this afternoon.
