Disney

Disney got spayed on Tuesday. She's the first of the "hoarder Danes" to go in for the surgery. She went first because we've judged her to be the most adoptable and it would be nice to get them moving.

The surgery went well. I took her in, Clay picked her up and brought her home. She moved inside when she got home because Dane Land is far too dusty and dirty for a dog who just had surgery. Plus we needed to keep an eye on her, keep her from running, etc. She's really been good indoors and she's met all the other dogs without problem. It confirms my belief that she's the most easily adoptable one of the four we took in.

She weighed 73 pounds when we went in.

Looking at me with her blue eye here.

She was uncertain about where we were and what we were doing, but she wasn't really scared.
She didn't even have her tail tucked.

Back home in the crate in the kitchen.

Coming out of the crate and meeting Serena.

Tail up, meeting Della
