Cinderella

Having multiple dogs who are mostly white presents the same problems of identification that we had with the puppies. The dogs are actually quite distinct, but when they are in close quarters the collars provide the quickest key to their identities.

Karma is the cow dog, lots of big black and merle splotches all over her big, solid body. She wears a like blue collar but in her case it's necessary to remember that. Her spots make her stand out from all the others.

Chrome

Diamond is the biggest, the oldest, and I think she's pure white. If she has any markings they are unremarkable. She has a solid black nose and she wears a green collar. She's probably the mother of all of them.

Cinderella has a pink collar that stands out from her mostly white fur and matches her pink skin. She has some black on her nose but it's not as solid as Diamond's. She has one fairly large black spot on her left rear leg, but really the pink collar is the quickest and easiest way to identify her. She is rather mouthy, which I think is her way of compensating for her poor vision and hearing.

Chrome is the new guy around here, he just came this week. He's the only male of the group. Chrome seems to have the poorest vision, virtually none at night. He wears a blue collar and he has one merle-colored spot on his left side. He's maybe the calmest of the group too, happy to sit by your side as you pet him.

Diamond

Chrome (blue collar) is the only male and he has one
patch of merle marking on his left flank, not visible here.

Diamond may not be able to hear but she sure can

They really like those elevated beds. Thank you to everyone
who donated one. There are three outdoors and a couple more
in their sleeping quarters and they all get used.
