Adoption Prospects

Karma, Diamond, and Cinderella, all
interested in some pretty good treats.
This was a good weekend, full of prospects at least. The four female Danes haven't been officially posted yet, but word gets around.

Someone came out Saturday morning to meet the Danish girls and ended up signing a contract for Cinderella! She will be with us until she's spayed at least, but she's next on the schedule for October 10th.

Someone else came out Sunday who was interested in Diamond and left a signed contract as well. Diamond is in heat right now, so it will be at least four weeks before she's spayed, but it's good to have an adoption lined up in advance.

Apparently there is also a very good application for Karma, although we haven't met that one yet.

That's absolutely wonderful news for the three adult Danes with Green Dogs. There's also Disney, of course, but there will be no shortage of good applications for her as soon as she's posted.

That's all great news for the Danes, but what I'm most excited about is a serious adoption prospect for Zeus, the shepherd from Promises that I've had since before the puppies were born. I took in Zeus and then couldn't get him out to events because of the puppies. He really fell into the routine around here and I think it's been good for him. I took him to meet someone in Charlottesville today and I'm hopeful that it will result in an adoption. Zeus is a good boy and deserves a good home of his own.
