Other dogs, other days

Having a litter of 10 Great Dane puppies can be rather all-consuming of my time and energy, but I  have a job and a lot of other dogs, who have their own needs, and life rolls on for all of us outside the puppy world. Here's a few pictures of those other dogs from the past few days.

Henry, Della, and Serena on the back porch and steps.
This was recently rebuilt and looks much better, but now
I realize the other porch and steps need to be replaced as well.

Clay's brother Hugh made a brief visit to town this weekend.
We went out to see Clay at Patch Brewing Co. on Sunday evening.

Allison and Serena on one of Allison's pasture runs.

Della showing Allison around her pasture.

Allison really enjoys some time away from the puppies.

Della likes this time of year as much as I do.

Serena isn't nearly as outdoorsy as Della, but she enjoys it this time of year.

Allison has no interest in the disc, but she did enjoy running with Hugo.

Hugo has a potential adopter. We will be setting up a meeting.
It's far from a sure thing, but it's a chance worth taking.

Della and Serena at night.

This is the scene on my side of the bedroom at night.

OK, one puppy pic, just because. They are ravenous. This was the second
or third feeding today and there will be a fourth at bedtime.

Former foster Cosmo is here for just a few days. He's been hanging out with
Rufus in Daneland during the day and in my office at night.

Please note the clean cut on the pasture. This is the ball and disc playing
area. Other parts I've left the grass tall until next spring.
