Pei spay day

Della is a very consistent alarm clock. She gets up at 6:00 a.m. every day, sometimes a little sooner, rarely later. She has a snooze feature that usually works - "Go lay down" - but it only works once. After a 10 minute respite she is up again and determined that I will be too. But this morning I needed to get up even earlier so I set the alarm on my phone and got her out of bed and out of the house before 6:00 a.m. Today was the spay/neuter day for the Shar-pei pups and we had to get them over to the dog park to meet a transporter at 6:45 a.m.

With such an early start everyone got up, out, and fed even earlier than usual. We did a short pasture run later in the morning. Former foster Bette arrived in the afternoon, rounding out the roster for this session of summer camp. She was here for a month not long ago and she'll be back for a recently added fourth and final camp session in September. She seemed happy to see me when she arrived and the introductions were smoother this time around even with the two new Danes that arrived yesterday.

I met the return transporter early this evening but only brought three of the Shar-pei pups back home. Maz's adopter met us there and took her home directly. Ketsu's adopter is coming for her tomorrow morning. Making progress, slowly but surely.

Galen and Porkins shared the crate on the right.

He makes her seem small.

Rorschach, talking as usual, with Bailey.

Bette assumed her spot under my desk.

Maz and her adopter.
I will miss that little face.
