Great vet visit today. The vet gave Babe an age of about 6 years, which is a little better than I thought. She tested negative for everything they test for, and she got a rabies vaccine. To top it off, they found a spay scar, confirming what we all believed based on what we could see. She was good for the blood draw and even let us lay her down on her side for exam. She's really a good dog. I'm not prepared to say that she's perfect, but she's one of the best mannered, low-key, shepherds we've had in a long time.
