I went over to complete the paperwork for the adoption of Lance the WV rottweiler. I only had him here for one night and took him to a prospective adopter over a week ago. She got him to our vet to be neutered and vaccinated last Monday. Today we made it official. His new name is Dancer. 
I think he's already lost some weight, which he really needed to do. He and the other rottie in the household, also adopted from me, tear around the big, fenced yard, and it's been good for both of them. The other dog, BG (Big Guy), is still quite shy with strangers, but Dancer has helped bring him out of his shell a bit. They make a good pair.

Wonderful! It's rare for a rott to find a home so quickly, so you are a magician and he is a very lucky boy! And so is his adopter, to have the special devotion that only male rotties can give ...
