Fun without Sun

Saturday would have been a complete washout under the originally forecast path of hurricane Florence. Instead, we had another cloudy, breezy day, with occasional rain. I made cinnamon rolls for breakfast and then baked a cake. It was cool enough for a walk with Felix, Maya, and Coco, followed by a romp in the pasture with Felix, Theo, Max, Mercedes, and Harvey. In the afternoon we took in Cville's Pride event, saw the movie "Christopher Robin," and then had a nice dinner out with Clay's mother and a visiting friend.
Maya is so solid and so easy on a walk now.
Nothing but deer really gets her excited enough
to pull. She walks a half step behind me and is
always there.

It was a nice, full day. Thanks to North Carolina for taking the hit on this one.

Felix and Coco, but especially Felix really reacts to off-leash
dogs and there were a lot of them at Pleasant Grove Saturday
morning. His leash was never slack.

Theo, Mercedes, and Harvey

Theo, always with at least one, and here two balls
in his mouth. We did play ball yesterday so he was happy.

Harvey, Felix, Theo, and Mercedes under cloudy skies.

Max and Theo are beautiful, individually or together. Yesterday I picked up some CBD (hemp) oil
and am going to try it on Max to see if it will mellow him out a little.
