The Week in Dogs

Harvey seems to be recovering nicely from his neuter surgery on Wednesday. He was still a bit out of sorts Thursday morning and just barely touched his food, but by early afternoon he was more normal and he finished off his breakfast and then polished off a normal meal at dinner. The pictures of Harvey running in the pasture with Theo were taken before his surgery. He's been strictly indoors since he got home from the vet.

The blue sky makes it look nice out, but it really
wasn't. The humidity has been beastly all week.
I've continued the morning two miler with the girls every day this week. It's still too hot for TJ and Trooper, but the forecast shows a significant cool down headed our way. There's been more dogs than usual indoors during the day because I sprayed weeds in the dog yard and am keeping everyone out of there for a couple days. Theo joined Max over in Sparky's old kennel but everyone else is indoors with me all day. I'm just glad they all get along.

Theo's got a really nice tail on him, look at that thing.
The underside of the tail is catching the light here.
Love the black tip.

Coco

Maya and Mercedes

Notice my new foster tag on Mercedes? They came out
really nice this time and the etching is deep enough that
they shouldn't wear smooth like so many have.
I really have fallen for this little girl's charms.

Post-hike refreshment in the back of the van before heading home.

I've been informed that Coco appears to be an
Australian Kelpie. Look them up. She does look like one.
