Cloudy Sunday

Today was just a nice relaxing day. It was cloudy all day and much cooler than it has been, but I worked on my water gardens and did some other things around the yard. It misted just enough this morning to make the grass wet all day. Clay had the day off so we went to town to a Pride event and then had a beer and found a geocache at Decipher. We are planning to place a Geocache at Patch sometime soon and Clay came up with the idea of taking some of Kate's geocache trackables to Belgium with us in December and placing them in caches that we find over there. Looks like I have a new hobby.

The dogs appreciated the cooler weather and we all took advantage of it by spending a lot more time outdoors today. I should have gone for a hike.

Maze has finally joined our feeding program in earnest, putting away three cups of dry and half a can twice a day. I still have to put the other dogs up after they've been fed and feed her separately, but then she devours her big bowl of food while I watch.

Della and Elvis checking out Maze's breakfast bowl.

Maya and Elvis were hunting, Della wasn't playing, so Maze's best bet was Paisley.
Sometimes Paisley ran with her, sometimes she wouldn't.
Maze couldn't figure her out. Welcome to our world, Maze.

Della just watched it all.

Maze got a pretty good run out of Paisley here, and tried to get Maya and Elvis to join in as well.

Della watched Maze run, and must know that she's capable of Dane play,
but still hasn't deemed her worthy. Serena was a tough act to follow.

When I have enough time, I let Paisley out without the long line, figuring I'll get her back inside sooner or later.

The colors are pretty on a cloudy day.

Maze now comes to her eating spot in the garden and sits and waits for her food.
