Beauty, brains, and brawn. Between the three of them, they have it all, in spades. It's a pleasure to walk with them and see them operate, both independently and as a unit. They do some jockeying for position sometimes, but no one gets aggressive about it and none of them insist upon leading all the time.

Theo is picking up on the hunting thing, and I'd rather he didn't, but it's Max's reason for being when he's out there, and Maya is pretty keen on it too, so I suppose it's inevitable.
Maya loves the trail, she loves to hunt, but mostly she likes it because it fulfills her prime directive - being with me.

I'm going out for a beer with Maya this evening. I think the boys will be happy to stay at home and rest. Maya would probably be happy to do so as well, but not if I'm going out.
