Obi goes home

Oberon headed out for his new home today. He went to DC tonight and tomorrow he'll be a resident of Massachusetts, living with two women, both of them vets. I can't imagine a better home, particularly for a Dane, who are are known to have more than their share of problems that may require a veterinarian. Obi has a sensitive stomach or digestive system that will likely require their professional expertise. I don't think it's anything too serious, but I'm glad that they won't have to go far to seek the help that he may need.

They loved him of course, and he loved them, of course. There was never any doubt about that. He will have an older female canine sibling to show him how to act in his new home and keep him in line. He will benefit from that. They also have experience owning Danes. It's everything I could have asked for in a home, and although we will miss him, it was time he was moving on with his life. His spot was filled two times over before he even left, so now it's time for Hunter and Indigo to rise and shine.

His new red, white, and blue collar is also
a bowtie. Pretty classy.
