The Danes' Debut

I took Hunter and Indigo to their debut adoption event on Sunday. With any luck it will also be Indy's last adoption event. Both dogs got a lot of looks, of course, and they were a little more comfortable and easy to handle than they had been on Friday evening on the downtown mall.
Hunter is curious and he would reach out and sniff people and would accept petting, praise, and attention. There was one point towards the end when I even saw a little tail wag on Hunter. He wags his tail more than most Danes I've had, noticeably so, and he finally felt comfortable enough to do it today.

Indy mostly hunkered down and tried to ignore everything, hoping that she'd be magically transported back home. But I don't think she was as scared as last time, mostly she just wanted to be elsewhere. We did meet some potential adopters and Indy made a good impression on them anyway, and that's really what matters. I'm going to take both dogs to meet a cat one day this week. They were both good with all manner of dogs we saw today, including small ones. I was glad to see that.

something or someone. She did so occasionally.
