Just the Danes

Thursday we had an all Dane pasture run, just Della along with MoDean and Rorschach. I had the other dogs out earlier but I wanted to take the Danes out together to see if Della would engage in play with them. She and MoDean and made some gestures towards each other that made me think that they might if they were together again without so many other dogs to distract them.

They came pretty close. Both made some play moves and I think with some more time they might work it out and get down to some serious play. This was on Thursday; Friday's weather was lousy so everyone was inside most of the time. We may try it again on Saturday with just the two of them.

Here's Rorschach and MoDean in the puppy shed. They have a big pile of beds and blankets. They spent most of today in here because it was cold and wet outside and Rorschach seems to have outdone it with the running yesterday and was limping a bit today. I've got two heaters going in there and it was quite cozy in there today, warmer than our house actually.
