I'm a Puppy

Felix has one message to the world: "I'm a puppy."  It's the one greeting he uses for everyone, human or canine. I'm sure he'd say the same to a cat if he met one. It's just all he knows.

Around our house, his puppy enthusiasm is often met with old man growls, but he's never discouraged and he continues to try. Daisy is the best with him; she will play with him and mother him simultaneously. Maya will play with him occasionally, for a while. On the other end of the tolerance spectrum, Vince has no use for him at all.

I took Felix to a Promises Animal Rescue adoption event today. Everyone must have been out enjoying the beautiful spring day because there wasn't much traffic at the store. The beagle rescue group, B.R.E.W., was there, so he got to play with some beagles but otherwise there wasn't much action.
