Tilly goes home

Tilly was officially adopted today. Maybe the adoption was already official, but today they took her home. She was one of the best fosters I've ever had, and by best I mean "easy" in that she was housetrained, crate trained, well mannered indoors even without a crate, good with other dogs, content to be outdoors during the day, and on top of all that she was a good puppy sitter and role model for Sly. She really is a wonderful dog and she was nice to have around. I don't know one bad thing to say about her, except perhaps that she was too needy for the multi-dog household we have around here.

In her new home she will be one of only two dogs, and she has two adults and two kids, giving her new home a much better human to dog ratio than we have around here.

Tilly has found a new home. We should be very happy for Tilly. Goodnight Tilly.

With Tilly's departure, Sly will need to turn to Della for guidance.
Tilly was really good for him, even taught him to sit at mealtimes instead of jumping on me.
I'm not sure Della really wants to take on the role of mentor. We will see.
