A Sunny Saturday
Clear, chilly, perfect hiking weather, and on a Saturday when I didn't have anything else that I had to do. Maya and I did 10 miles. Four with TJ, three with Trooper, and another three with Gigi. Every dog was wanting to hike today.
This is a blog about my life, which until recently largely revolved around a dog rescue operation. Recently retired, we have moved to France for the next chapter of our lives. I write mostly, but not exclusively, about dogs. I am gay, with a very understanding husband; liberal Democrat; Kansas native and long time Virginia resident. We rescued, fostered, and/or adopted well over a thousand dogs through multiple rescue organizations over the past 25 years, large breed dogs, e.g. German Shepherd Dogs, Great Danes, Rottweilers and mutts. Anyone who voted for or supports the orange TACO turd (or any elected Republican) will please take themselves out with the trash, you are not welcome here.
