Second session of summer camp

After Dash, and Maze, and then Bette went home, it was feeling rather empty around here. I kept looking around expecting there to be more dogs. The second session of doggie camp started in earnest today and we are back to a full house. Hux arrived yesterday, although he's just here for the short session, and today Killian (Della's puppy) and Cosmo arrived substantially upping our pack weight once again. Rocket comes on Saturday, the day Hux will go home. This second session of camp is shorter and then we have over a week before the third (and final) session begins. We haven't really had a summer like this before.

Most of our dogs are accustomed to new dogs coming in, old ones returning, etc. Bailey is still pretty new at this fostering business but she is rapidly figuring it out. Hux immediately became her best playmate ever. He's basically a full sized, animated, stuffy toy as far as she's concerned. He's as sweet as he is clueless so they get along very well.

Della is back to moving normally and getting up and down the stairs without difficulty. I think she may have just been laying in the wrong position for too long on one of our hot days recently, it happens to all of us who are getting older.

Cosmo may be wishing he had booked a less busy session of camp.
