The good news is that Dickens was adopted today! Someone called the shelter and came by there interested in meeting him. They called me and I ran right over with him. The adopter seemed like a nice woman and she seemed to like him He will be a good companion, he's low key, easy going, all around sweet dog, as long as you aren't a cat. I hope it works out well for him.

Good news, bad news

Good news for Dickens.
I'm sickened RE: the bad news.
This decision to allow her to appeal is even worse: Because these German Shepherds are being held for court hearing, no one can walk them outside, thus they are in their kennels 24/7, not good for them in so many ways.
Is there anything that can be done to change this now?
There was a case in Powhatan where an owner appealed, the dogs had to be kept for months, and then the court returned them to her. They could exercise in the play yard, though. PAC has 2 play yard areas with 6 ft. chain link fencing.
I've never been to Fluvanna's AC, so I'm not familiar with that one.
